NARRATION:
It was a dark looming evening
At a quarter past ten
and little Timmy Thompson was wide awake in bed
A bump in the night shook him to fright
The monster was at it again
Timmy pulled the covers up over his head
And hid from the monster under the bed
Creeping crawling
Underneath the bed
Creature calling
It's bedtime you dread
You dread
It's dark and scary
When your all alone
It could get hairy
Before the night is done
The night is young
You gotta get up
Don't just wiggle your toes
Go on scream out
At the top of your lungs
And go get mom and dad
And tell them that
There's a monster under the bed
And there will be no sleep unless
That monster under the bed
Is fed
NARRATION:
Mom and Dad said there were
no monsters under the bed
And to prove it dad did an inspection
But still Timmy plead
TIMMY: That monster's gonna eat me mommy he's hungry
So mom agreed make the monster a peanut butter sandwich if Timmy promised to go back to bed
Monster:
Hey Timmy come on down here I got half a peanut butter sandwich for you.
Timmy:
No, dad said To be brave and stay in bed and go to sleep.
Monster:
oh come on Timmy it'll be fun I'm not going to eat you.
Timmy:
No your gonna just gonna get me in trouble
Monster:
Trouble? No trouble, just fun. Use your imagination.
